Psychiatric (Nurse)

Key Objectives or tasks:
1.
  • Responsible for screening patients including vital, maintaining outpatient records and medical supply inventory.
  • Responsible for assessing the patients, taking history, vital signs, assisting the doctors and report writing. 
  • Must comply with proper safety and security policies and procedures.
2.
  • Administers appropriate medication and treatment
  • Provide face-to-face counselling services to the individual consumer, groups, or family members
  • Lead therapeutic groups with patients

3.
  • Maintaining infection control in the clinic. 
4.
  • Keep and maintain patient records and the outpatient register.
  • Provide health education and counselling in liaison with in clinical Psychologist
5.
  • Holds a nursing qualification from a recognized training center or medical certificate.
  • 2 years’ experience as PHC or hospital nurse 
  • Native Kurdish/Arab, Iraq citizen, Excellent English, Kurdish and Arabic communication skills (oral and written).
  • Good knowledge of quality standards and quality controls related to medical practice. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate flexibility, motivation, and maturity 
  • Willingness to work in difficult conditions.
  • Candidate should be from Nainawa governorate, Zummar sub-district
