Purpose of position:

Interview beneficiaries, volunteers and families to determine individuals needs

Advocate on behalf of beneficiaries, making necessary referrals for service and assistance

Creation of a guide of NGOs with similar missions – include services we can refer beneficiaries to.

Responsible for creating and maintain welfare records and files including case management for tracking clients’ needs

Attend meeting related to job responsibilities

Assist youth project coordinator and project officer with the coordination of seasonal activities

Prepare for & conduct sessions for WV staff and volunteers on resources available.

Minimum education, training and experience requirements to qualify for the position:
-
Degree in areas of development work, development, psychology, or social work.
-
Previous experience with NGOs.
-
Willingness to be flexible with hours when necessary and able to travel often in the field (30% of the time).

Able to communicate in Arabic.
-
Effective in written and oral communication; able to speak and write with a high standard of English and ability to communicate in cross cultural contexts.

Computer literacy; Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Relevant experience in case management
