Key Objectives or tasks 
1.
  • Receive training on PM+ / PSS & PFA. 
  • Provide non-specialized services to community through Households intervention (Door to Door visit), Mobilise the Community on a routine basis for MHPSS awareness campaigns, and raise awareness of referral pathways.
2.
  • Conduct community awareness sessions on MHPSS on a weekly basis to educate and address the specific MHPSS needs of population. 
  • Distribute Information, Education and Communications (IEC) through the community outreach sessions on MHPSS
  • Conducting follow-up visits with beneficiaries and referring those in need of non-specialized and specialized services to the static clinic based on their needs.
3.
  • Carry out MHPSS awareness activities in line with relevant standards, codes of conduct, and humanitarian principles, Encourage the participation of community members throughout the programme, communication activities such as community meetings, drama, information campaigns, use of educational materials etc. Must comply with proper safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Conduct sessions on PM+, PSS, PFA, and parenting skills to community members.
4.
  • Maintain a collaborative relationship with all organizations working in the local context to facilitate referrals and joint activities, while upholding WVI standard in MHPSS programming;
5.
  • Trained and experienced casuals, Some prior knowledge of MHPSS, health, hygiene, teaching, or community development,
  • Strong communication skills, Good listening skills, Sensitivity to the needs and priorities of different sectors of the community. Arabic language is mandatory, 
  • Excellent communication skills with children of different age groups and adults (staff and community members).
  • Good interpersonal skills and cross-cultural sensitivity.
  • Ability to work in difficult and high risk situations.
  • Ability to cope and work under pressure.
  • Well-organized, self-motivated and ability to work in a team.
  • Familiar with Humanitarian Principles and standards.
  • Full adherence to World Vision Child Protection, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies.
