Casual Worker – Clinical Psychologist - Ninewa
Task Description
Providing mental health services and clinical psychosocial support to
beneficiaries through therapeutic sessions (individual-group).
Assess suicide risk and implement required psychological interventions.
Report the data of the beneficiaries and ensure that all data and information
in his possession is kept in a safe and confidential place.
Identifying people with symptoms of Post-traumatic stress disorder.
Report the data of the beneficiaries and ensure that all data and information
in his possession is kept in a safe and confidential place.
Use assessment tools to diagnose mental disorders and potential
intervention and/or referral strategies.
Management of incoming referrals
Ensure that all the referrals received (from external actors and WVI teams)
are recorded in the referral database
Ensure referrals are checked against the current database to avoid
duplications
Prepare the lists for screening/initial assessment, considering geographical
areas and the levels of emergency
Ensure data collection tools are used properly by the teams through regular
data quality check
Skills Required
Bachelor’s degree in psychology from a recognized university or academic
institute.
Good communication skill and being able to work with diversities and people
with different nations, background, ethnics, etc….
