The Academy Manager will report directly to Al J areed company CEO and will take the responsibility for establishing IT
Learning & Development C enter from scratch and supporting the development of high quality, technology-mediated courses and programs .
Academy manager is responsible for developing, implementing a nd executing strategic plans & programs for the IT Learning & Development Center in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones .
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managing all the activities of the Learning & Development Center for the company .
Develop and execute upon a Learning and Development roadmap (including tools, processes, systems, data capture, measurement, etc.).
Carrying out competitor analysis to ensure the ITL&DC enter Programs and Strategies are competing effectively.
Build partnerships with key L&D institutes within / outside Iraq .
Working closely with the Marketing Director to devise a n effective marketing strategy for the company Learning & Developing C enter in line with company targets & objectives.
Support the HR Department with recruitment, selection and hiring team members with professional technical skills, characteristics, and team fit to lead the ITL&DC enter activities .
Support the executives to determine the L&D plan, budgets and targets of their departments,
Prepare the required reports on all L&D C enter activit ies and submit to Al Jareed CEO on regular basis .
Support the HR Department with the Annual L&D plan.
Participate in project scoping and planning for large programs of work.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication / Computer Engineering, Computer Science (MBA is a plus) or equivalent work experience.
Professional experience with leading technology workshops.
Must have a minimum 5 years working in Learning and Development of IT field .
Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels
Excellent communication skills & interpersonal skill.
Ability to think creatively and innovatively
Budget -management skills and proficiency
Professional judgment and discretion that comes from years of experience in the field
Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges
Must have good unde rstanding of IT technical requirements (having adequate technical knowledge about current software technologies and solutions with enthusiasm for new technology and its commercial uses ).
