Education : Technical Degree Oil & Gas, qualified 6G Welder with teaching experience
The ESL SME(s) will fulfill the responsibilities described below.
Personal Skills Required – Both Functions:
• Strong teamwork, able to work with multi-national team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong classroom presentation skills
• Good interpersonal skills, able to work in multi-culture and multi-company environments
Technical Skills Required:
• Welder Trainers – minimum of 5 years instructing within their respective construction training specialty and solid experience background with specialty function
• Welder Trainers – possess certification or qualification documents for their respective specialty functions
o Welding Trainer should possess either plate or pipe welding certifications and preferably both as this is immediate need upon contract award
o Welding Trainer should have knowledge of and have ability to train on international welding standards and specifications
• Both functions should have solid training instruction background within specialty function
• Both functions should have knowledge / exposure to upstream oil & gas operations
• Arabic and English speaking
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare training programs and manage presentation materials / equipment
• Present training material in an professional, interesting, and stimulating manner
• Ensure all students engage positively in learning experience
• Assist and encourage students who experience difficulties
• Assess student’s capabilities and modify program presentation as needed to maximize students learning’s
• Maintain program performance, completion, attendance, evaluation records and perform LMS data input functions as defined by EMIL / WQ1FOD Training Management
• Interface and coordinate training activities with SOC, Company, and other personnel to effectively achieve program presentations and completion objectives
• Operate training facilities instructional and presentation equipment
• Ensure all developed training material is presented for archiving by the Document Controller
TERMS:
* Welder Trainers would be located in the WQ1 field areas
• Welder Trainers work schedule may vary depending upon operational staff availability
• Welder Trainers work locations may vary depending upon site instructional requirements
