Chemonics International seeks technical specialists for the anticipated USAID-funded Iraq Durable Communities and Economic Opportunities project. This project will seek to:

Increase the Adaptive Capacity of Vulnerable Communities by mitigating drivers of conflict in target communities and enhance community leadership of inclusive local development and;

Advance the Economic Well-Being of Communities by increasing economic opportunities through improving private sector networks and increasing the development of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.
We are seeking specialists in a range of areas including:

Community engagement and stabilization

Local governance and leadership

Service delivery
-
Social cohesion
-
Livelihoods
-
Private sector development
-
SME development
-
Youth engagement
-
Gender and inclusion
Qualifications include:

Four (4) or more years of experience working on USAID- or donor-funded programs related to the above fields

A university degree (or equivalent) in a related field

Fluency in Arabic and English

Other qualifications as appropriate by position
