Duties & Responsibilities

HCP’s Activity
-
Ensure visits of current and future KOL’s in all areas to develop & maintain good relations & implement the proper brand support in the market to leverage brand recommendation
-
Liaise with and build professional relationship with key contacts of the main medical, health and nutritional bodies to facilitate regulatory policy lobbying
-
Conduct periodic market visits to resolve any consumer problems
-
Coordinate with Medical affairs manager to sponsor and/or provide the appropriate service to KOL
-
Identify HCP contacts with KOL status
-
Keep close contact with RTF decision makers and provide support as per the plan
Team Management
-
Daily & weekly meetings to review and discuss the market situation and daily sales operation and to review if sales plans are in line with cycle objectives
-
Coordinate with the Medical Representatives the most efficient means to optimize the sales performance

Appraise the efforts versus the monthly targets
-
Co-ordinates and facilitate the Initial training programs as set out in the skills build training plans if applicable
-
Develop appropriate evaluation and assessment tools to measure quality of training, knowledge and other skills required by Medical Representatives if applicable

Recommend and compile findings of key performance indicators and incentive schemes

Conducting double visits for support and coaching purposes

Promote team work by sharing best practice

Facilitate in round tables, symposia and conferences

Prepare visit forecasts
Planning and business Strategy
-
Ensure the proper implementation of the established sales policies and procedures

Develop an efficient sales program to ensure the achievement of the targeted sales forecast

Recommend and optimize A&P budget allocated for professional contacts in terms of samples, professional schemes, presentations, seminars and professional talks

Manage and be accountable for the A&P budget assigned to the area to meet the sales plan

Date collection and market intelligence on country specific (and WHO) regulatory policies and procedures, and large scale seminar organization

Provide Medical manager with competitors information collection and analysis
-
Prepare weekly sales reports as well as HCP updates.
Sales Analysis

Analyze the sales every month / area / outlet, to measure the efforts of the team & to find the strength & weakness & recommend corrective actions

Monitors and follow-up on competitors’ prices and sales strategies
-
Monitor and be responsible for monthly spending plan to guidelines and to effectively manage the budget allocated for the local nutritional team
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Coach and develop the individual team members
-
Lead, inspire and motivate the team to create a “winning team spirit” to optimize team output
-
Ensure the medical sales teams have access to the (administrative) resources they requireachieving their business objectives with optimum efficiency
Education
-
Minimum BSc. in Medical or Pharmacy
Experience
-
2-3 years previous experience working for a larger/similar Blue Chip Multinational Company in a (sr.) medical representative position, preferably with prior experience as HCP
Languages:
-
Fluent in English & Arabic (Writing, Reading, Communication)

Kurdish is considered as an advantage
