Purpose of the Position
Reports to an IT Manager or Team leader. He/she will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems and servers. Deploy and maintain antivirus, security applications, make back-up and install SAN storage devices. The candidate will be responsible for maintain the server room/datacenter and ensure the service availably, troubleshoot and liaise with vendor for smooth fixing for any issues.
Key Responsibilities & Duties

Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and virtualization.

Experience with Microsoft Windows server installation (2012 and above), configuration and management
-
Demonstrated knowledge and experience supporting Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS
-
Basic experience with Linux System installation and management
-
Anti-virus, and other security application installation and management
-
Workable networking knowledge specially about TCP/IP
-
Perform VMWare ESXi installation and management
-
Perform SAN storage installation and management
-
Perform SAN switch installation and management.
-
Perform experience with backup software
-
Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures

Participate in development and implementation of training and documentation
-
Solving problems with the concerned departments within the company and with the Central Bank
-
Checking and verifying the daily, weekly, and monthly reports of the concerned parties
-
Assist other Technical Services personnel with troubleshooting and training
-
Performs special projects and other duties as assigned

Provides User Support

Provide phone and face-face hardware and software support to local and remote associates and offices
-
Install, upgrade, and patch hardware and software
-
Instruct associates on usage of software and hardware as needed
-
Troubleshoot associate hardware and software issues
-
May include travel to remote sites as needed
Skills and qualification
-
Associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required
-
System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network-related fields are a plus
-
3-5 years’ experience with AD, GPO, scripting, Exchange, Windows, virtual machines, Terminal Server, network switching
-
3-5 years of database, network administration, or system administration experience
-
Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent Knowledge
-
Office Protocol/Telephone Etiquette
-
Proven network engineering, network operations, and network performance analysis skills
-
Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, virtual server, and other operating systems

Microsoft Office
-
Hardware/software installation and support
-
Knowledge of computing infrastructures

Familiarity with server management and monitoring tools
-
Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability

Strong interpersonal skills to assist non-technical individuals with complex technical issues
