EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full- time (Sunday to Thursday 8h00-16h00)

DUTIES:

Diagnose, treat, and help prevent injuries that occur during sporting events, athletic training, and
-
physical activities.

Inform coaches, trainers, or other interested parties regarding the medical conditions of athletes.

Advise athletes, trainers, or coaches to alter or cease sports practices that are potentially harmful.
-
Advise athletes, coaches, or trainers on exercise regimens, nutrition, or equipment use.
-
Supervise the rehabilitation of injured athletes.
-
Refer athletes for specialized consultation, physical therapy or diagnostic testing.
-
Refer patients to other healthcare practitioners or health resources.
-
Coordinates the assessment and management of game-day injuries and medical problems.
-
Provides ongoing medical care beyond game-day/event coverage.
-
Is involved in injury and illness prevention.

Addresses other issues that affect athletic performance, including strength and conditioning,
-
nutrition, ergogenic aids, substance abuse and psychological response to injury.

Develop and implement procedures for dealing with emergency injury situations.

Record all medical care information and maintain medical records based on our template.
REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor Degree in Medical school;
-
Fresh graduate or one-year experience;
-
Fluency in Kurdish, Arabic and good English report writing skills required;

Ability to communicate and interact closely with all patients;

Innovative thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills;

Passionate about enhancing the self-efficacy of athletes
