The Spa Manager & Fitness Manager supervises the day-to-day operations of the Spa Department. He has the responsibility to maintain quality standards in conformity to the third party brand and to oversee the spa activities that will promote the business successfully. The Spa & Fitness Manager drives and leads the operational and ensuring complete viability and maximizing all opportunities and resources. He ensures that the highest standards are adhered to, and that guest experience exceeds expectation.
The Spa & Fitness Manager key responsibilities are as follows:

Responsible for the overall management and performance of the Spa, ensuring high standards of professionalism, customer service and optimum financial performance.

Monitor spa performance through Key performance Indicators, linking results with sales and marketing activities.

Liaise with those responsible for Sales and Marketing within the hotel to prepare and develop the marketing plans for the year. Coordinate all promotional plans and projects for the facility.

Effectively integrate the Spa within the Hotel Marketing Strategy and to ensure ongoing representation of the Spa, both internally and externally,

Lead the planning and implementation of marketing activities within the Spa, with support from the Hotel.

Conduct regular competitive analysis

Provide leadership, direction and support to the employees at the Spa to develop a highly motivated team, who can deliver high standards of service in all areas.

Develop an annual training plan with spa staff and ensure that all employees are trained and developed to meet the needs of the business.

Create and maintain relations with spa guests and members through having an active presence in spa reception and other key guest areas.

To be responsible for the health and safety of employees and guests in the Spa and adhere to guidelines and procedures outlined in the Health and Safety Manual.
Work Experience:

Has a good experience in the field of Spa Management gained in a hotel or resort environment and internationally in multi-cultural environments.

Ideally a Spa professional who has been in charge of the Spa Operations of a reputable hotel group or with previous partnership

Experience in a similar operation would be a definite advantage.

Advanced Microsoft software knowledge

Prior opening Resort Experience is desirable

Experience working in remote island locations would be an advantage
