Social Media and Marketing Specialist

BISK needs an employee who can handle Social Media and Marketing Specialist
 

Responsibilities:

• Compose and post online content on the company’s website and social media accounts.

• Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification.

• Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information.

• Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community.

• Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages parents to take action on shared contents.

• Conduct market research and analyze consumer rating reports/ questionnaires.

• Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)

• Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information.

• Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success.

• Prepare and deliver promotional presentations.

• Write marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc) to augment the company’s presence in the market.

• Communicate directly with clients and encourage trusting relationships.

Requirements

• Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist & marketing assistant.

• Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach.

• Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.

• Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases.

• Good understanding of office management and marketing principles.

• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills.

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google Adwords & spreadsheets etc.).

• Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels.

• Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.

• Fluency in English, Kurdish & Arabic.

• Exquisite communication and people skills.

• BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations.
