Site Engineer

•   Monitors the actual physical works at site.

•   Provide engineering and technical support.

•   Estimates, prepares and assigns the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables,equipment, tools, etc., required for all civil works prior to execution.

•   Interprets construction drawings and studies the contract documents and applicablestandards or specifications prior to execution of any jobs.

•   Provide engineering and technical supports to the technical assistants.

•   Prepare and submit reports on the progress and status of the project

•   Monitors the actual physical works at site.

•   Submits site reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports onregular basis or as required.

•   Ensures that all site works are done according to all applicable quality standards.

•   Directly responsible for the safety of all personnel of the project by ensuring that theproject execution will be done according to all applicable health, safety, sanitary andenvironmental standards.

•   Supports the Senior Engineer in accomplishing all the goals and targets

•   Ensures that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings,contract documents, project specifications, and all applicable standards whether local,national or international standards.

•   Ensures that all site works are done according to all applicable quality standards.

• Directly responsible for the safety of all personnel of the project by ensuring that the project execution will be done according to all applicable health, safety, sanitary and environmental standards.

• Performs other related duties as may be required by the Senior Engineer.

• Periodical reports to be organized by Microsoft Program software

• Submits site reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports onregular basis or as required.

• Assign targets for accomplishments and ensure targets are met on daily basis

• Plans and analyses all possible construction methodologies and recommends the best options to the Field coordinator/Project Manager for approval prior to execution at site.

•   Estimates, prepares and assigns the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all civil works prior to execution.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS):

• University degree in civil engineering.

• Two year related experience with NGO is necessary.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with colleagues from varied cultures and

• professional backgrounds.

• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

• Good level of computer literacy

• Personal commitment, efficiency, flexibility, drive for results

• Fluency in English and Kurdish.
