We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Architect to oversee the design and execution of construction projects. You will be meeting with clients and stakeholders to discuss the initial construction design, preparing budgets, creating the final design, and overseeing the entire construction process from start to finish. You will mentor other Architects, interpret client briefs, and review contracts and designs. You will be responsible for working with internal departments and external parties on building and design projects, ensuring the structural and functional integrity of building structures and systems and identifying and solving design flaws.
You should have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of CAD software, Revit, should also be open to criticism and learning opportunities.

To be successful, you should have in-depth knowledge of architectural design, experience with project management, excellent communication skills, great interpersonal skills, be meticulous, be detail-oriented, and be able to work well in a team. and be able to relay important information. A top candidate would be able to translate the ideas of the client into a fully built design on time and within budget. You should be analytical, have excellent time management skills, and the ability to find effective solutions to fit with the project's timeline, budget, and objectives.

Responsibilities

Reviewing and designing architectural and engineering plans.
Networking and consulting with various industry professionals.
Meeting with clients and stakeholders to discuss construction designs.
Drafting building plans for commercial, industrial, and residential construction projects.
Preparing budgets, material documents, and specification lists for client approval.
Acting as an intermediary between the client and the construction team.
Overseeing building contractors and construction crews.
Visiting the site regularly to ensure construction adheres to state regulations.
Ensuring the project remains on time and within specifications.
Creating progress reports, time schedules, and revised budgets.
Conducting a final inspection after the project is complete.
Ensuring all plans are compliant with governmental health and safety regulations.
Researching and maintaining knowledge of various engineering disciplines, application methods, and materials.
Monitoring the work of other Architects and the whole team of engineers and making recommendations or scheduling workshops as required.
Providing guidance to subcontractors like builders, plumbers, and electricians, and helping them interpret design specifications.
Liaising with clients to ensure all issues are addressed in a timely manner, and that project requirements are met.
Designing, analyzing, and altering plans, prototypes, or structures.
Ensuring building plans, prototypes, and structures are operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.
Assisting team members with project objectives, budgets, and timelines.
Establishing project goals.
Identifying and solving problems in building plans, prototypes, and structures.
Ensuring building systems are functional, reliable, and safe.
Testing and evaluating building systems to find problems and improvements.
Reading, interpreting, and explaining complex technical documents.
Consulting with clients on building projects.
Ensuring the team works together to achieve set goals and targets.
Acting as a mentor to new Architects and helping them fine-tune their design skills and improve their industry knowledge.
Travel is necessary to visit sites and staying on the project for a designated duration.
Working hours are typically standard office hours, but strict deadlines mean longer hours, weekends and being on-call are all possible and expected.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's or master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Design, or similar.
A phD Degree in Architecture or Design might be preferable.
Must be Licensed Architect.
A good portfolio and 15 years of work experience as an Architect.
Proven experience in camp design and construction (200 men and above) and residential complexes.
Willingness to work overtime as required.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Brilliant interpersonal and networking skills.
Detail-oriented and highly analytical.
Advanced knowledge in AutoCAD.
Advanced knowledge in Revit.
Deadline-driven and dedicated to excellence.
Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders on a daily basis.

Current knowledge of industry trends, technology, codes, and regulations.
The ability to diagram designs both manually and with computer-aided drafting.
