Awal Telecom is looking to hire Sales Executive in baghdad. The candidate must be fluent in English.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Adherence to related policies and procedures
  • New customers/contracts/accounts acquired
  • Sales target achievement (actual sales/ sales targets)
Key Accountabilities
  • Understand the Sales Strategy and plans and participate in the achievement of objectives and targets
  • Implement Sales policies and procedures
  • Maintain sales information libraries where needed, identify new sources of information, respond to ad hoc requests for data, information or analysis
  • Deal with current customers and respond to sales enquiries/complaints via phone calls/ e-mails / website / customer visits efficiently and effectively in line with established policies and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction and increase customer loyalty to Awal Telecom
  • Acquire new business customers and search for new leads to increase sales and hence revenues
  • Ensure customers are aware of full range of Awal Telecom services/products/offers which may be relevant to their needs in order to increase sales and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain good relationships with customers to ensure business continuity and growth
  • Interact with management, keeping them informed of relevant enquiries and providing back-up and administrative support to ensure efficiency of sales operations
  • Accurately complete all sales-related administrative details for efficiency
  • Coordinate with relevant Departments on billing transactions in order to finalize the customer’s payment on the system 
  • Update sales leads and sales forecasts information on the sales application to ensure accuracy of information always
  • Act as a point of expertise and reference within Management and participate in identifying opportunities for cross selling and upselling to enhance sales and profitability
  • Maintain standards review, check and monitor work output to ensure quality requirements
  • Ensure the adherence to quality standards and client expectations during the sales process
  • Update sales leads and sales forecasts information on the sales application to ensure accuracy of information always
  • Research, select and evaluate new deals and forecasts, existing and new clients to ensure achievements of sales targets
  • Handle all key accounts communications, conflict resolution and compliance to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
  • Resolve escalated clients’ complaints/requests as needed to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Identify and implement sales improvement initiatives and follow-up on initiatives’ implementation to ensure improvements
  •  Create personal rapport with key business decision makers and create customized bulk business deals
  • Responds to the customer support requirements of the supported client base, including implementation and service personnel, and other sales and management resources as needed. 
  • Works closely with Customer Service Representatives (Technical Team) to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in (IT, Telecom, Business Administration)  or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in a business-to-business, large/strategic customer segment in IT or Telecom
