Purpose of the Position

Responsible for defining and developing detailed market requirements for products and identifying market needs, competitive activities, and potential return on investment. Sales Manager will largely be responsible for the development services growth strategy for the company.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Work with operations to drive forecasting, inventory, and product cost optimization
  • Recommend technology solutions and products for targeted market segments and/or customers in order to retain current customers with existing product and future ones
  • Coordinate in conjunction with Marketing Department
  • Support the application of market research for the planning of products which will develop positioning, pricing, packaging, and promotions to capitalize on key market segments
  • Developing sales tools to train and support the sales teams in conjunction with corporate training resources
  • Contribute to marketing programs/campaigns
  • Develop training programmed for new staff
  • Set long and short-term sales strategies for an assigned district
  • Oversee the sales activities of the organization’s products/services in a particular district
  • Participate in the interview and recruitment process of Sales employees
  • Review objectives of all external sales personnel
  • Guide employees to ensure effectiveness of cross selling activities is achieved
  • Design cross selling campaigns and programs
  • Establish and maintain relations with distributers/sales agents and product developers
  • Design sales programs for assigned team members
  • Develop and review both short- and long-term sales strategies
  • Evaluate appropriate new sales techniques and ensure its implementation in order to increase sales volume of the region
  • Make recommendations on product and service enhancements to increase the company’s competitive advantage
  • Ensure district sales volume is at its peak and maintained within the company’s overall sales figures

Skills and qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Marketing.
  • A minimum of seven years of experience in the sales at corporate and management level
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the company in Kurdish. Professional level in Arabic and English is preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, effectively balancing resources to meet deadlines and pay attention to detail
