Under the direct supervision of QANDIL’s PARC Managers, the PARC Reporting Officer will assist in the development and implementation of internal/external communications related to the PARC Project. The Reporting Officer will work in close collaboration with the Information Management Officer in the overall supervision and monitoring of data collection, data quality and ensuring that the necessary information is collected at the field level and communicated appropriately to donors and relevant stakeholders.
  • Analyze and synthesize data;
  • Produce monthly Situation Reports, quarterly indicator reports, annual reports and other narrative reports as assigned by the relevant departments;
  • Create infographics, interactive maps and other communication material as needed;
  • Overseeing reporting and data quality on Activity Info in an accurate and timely manner;
  • Monitor and ensure accuracy of data collection;
  • Support the implementation and improvement of monitoring and evaluation tools and frameworks;
  • Stay overtime when required;
  • Perform any other needed duties as directed by supervisors.
  • Advanced degree in Communication, Graphic Design, Information Visualization, Journalism, or related areas;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Reporting and Data Analysis;
  • Excellent fluency in written English is required. Kurdish and/or Arabic skills are an asset;
  • Proven writing and design skills and ability to present information clearly and concisely through visual data analysis;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to deliver reports according to strict donor requirements;
  • Excellent IT skills;
  • Knowledge of report writing software such as Microsoft Publisher or Tableau required;
  • Experience in graphic design is required;
  • Proactive, motivated, innovative and adaptable individual, who is able to take initiative;
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines;
  • Ability to travel to the field if needed.
