An International Food & Beverages (FMCG) company is looking to hire a Quality Control Manager in Baghdad
Job summary:

Managing all the activities & staff of the Quality Control Department.

Assisting & Guiding the QC team in core Quality Control Activities.
-
Overall the company premises cleanliness and ensuring effective sanitation program is carried out.
Accountabilities:
-
Manage the laboratory functions on-site to ensure effective, timely, and efficient analysis and information while maintaining company specifications.

Provide information, advice or assistance on quality issues or other areas that may affect quality in any way
-
Manage calibrations and maintenance of equipment.
-
Implement lab methods/instructions and refine sampling regime and procedures.
-
Highlight any quality parameters deviations from normal standards and advice and assist on quality-related matters
-
Audit where necessary and conducting in house inspections and recording & analyzing related data.

Investigate and workable solutions to internal non-conformance issues and market complaints.
-
Provide technical assistance to plant/site management and update relevant executive management
-
Assist or direct where appropriate the training and development of site personnel.
-
Monitoring of shelf life samples of all the products.
-
Update and verify laboratory manuals and records.
-
Developing, monitoring, and responding to periodic GMP audits to ensure cleanliness and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices, company and regulatory standards.

Conducting the HACCP Plan validation regularly to assure its work efficiency for the cleaning & sanitation/pest control and waste management.

Highlighting any deviations observed to the QA Director for appropriate actions.

Co-ordinate with R & D for standards and specifications.

Litigate and solve any co-packer issues affecting our quality and conformance of our manufactured products.
Skills/Qualifications

Degree in Food or Dairy Technology / B.Tech / PG in Food Science/Science

Got certification as a HACCP/FSMS Lead auditor
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Dairy/ Food industry and experience in implementing and executing the quality control program.

Knowledge and expertise in implementing food safety systems and conducting GMP audits.

Desirable Food Safety experience preferably with Multinational Juice and Beverage Company.

Understanding and knowledge of tools and machinery used for quality control laboratory tests of fruit beverages.
-
Effective communicator with excellent planning and interpersonal skills. Good language skills in English& Arabic.
