 Objectives and final deliverables (in order of priority, if possible):

1-Engage School Authorities to establish operation and maintenance plans for their sanitation facilities

2-Facilitating school clean-up campaign and distribution of clean up kits.

3-Facilitation of operation and maintenance training for maintenance staff and school leadership

Required Qualification and Experience:

The consultant should have the following qualifications and experience:

• Relevant academic and professional background in humanitarian interventions which specializes on public health in schools

• Hygiene promotion experience and knowledge of public health and community engagement

• Understanding of Protection issues, especially among children response and community based protection

• Self-motivated and well to work on tight schedules with little supervision

• Demonstrated understanding of the work proposed in the TOR


Supervisory Responsibilities:

Monitor the quality of the weekly reports and manage point of contacts

Arrangements for cost coverage:

Consultant Fee will be covered under GoG, Project# I204114, budget line

Exit/Hand-over Plan:

  • Sanitation and Maintenance plan by target schools

  • Report on milestone activities done by each school Well-attended and documented clean up campaigns
