Job summary:
The Project Manager will be responsible to manage the whole project at the 3rd party co-packer supplier. It involves from setting the project timeline, follow-up with the equipment suppliers, review equipment specs to match with agreed specs, work with the factory/co-packer/suppliers/ABC, monthly report/communication, testing the equipment at the supplier before shipping, follow-up on the shipping, release/customs, handle governmental requirement and approvals, transportation to the factory, installation, utility connection, commissioning, start-up and prepare all the needed training and standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities:
Project Management:

Present the overall and the Project details to ABC during the kick off meeting: process, schedule, specs

Communicate internally and with the Co-packer and ABC on the project progress (layout, purchase, studies...) phone and emails, site meeting.

Transfer all the necessary information to the project team at the beginning of the project and during the project.

Lead and manage the project schedule, keep it up to date.

Validate with the Co-packer and ABC all the project steps and tasks, manage the Variation Orders.

Study and size the components, the process: Time chart, equipment calculation, create and complete the equipment list.

Create the tenders for suppliers, subcontractors: prepare the technical spec for the purchaser.

Coordinate the following actions: layout, mechanical and electrical studies, IT and automation programming, purchases, manufacturing, pre-assembly, shipments, etc…

Validate the activities during the project reviews.

Follow up the invoicing to Co-packer (payment terms, milestones, payment to suppliers to be in line with the project schedule).

Organize and manage the site jobs: installation, commissioning, checking and shipping of the technical documentation.

Sign the acceptance certificate with the Co-packer, get the records of the installation performances and clear the outstanding points raised by Co-packer.
Maintenance:

Sets, schedules and manages the plant preventive maintenance to guarantee the efficiency of machines and equipment.

Sets the annual maintenance budget and manages expenditures to ensure its commitment to the approved budget.

Monitors the use and inventories of spare parts and maintenance supplies and approves ordering when necessary.

Monitors the repairing of emergency breakdowns and the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement.

Prepares reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving equipment efficiency and solving maintenance-related problems.

Directs, maintains, and enforces the safety program for the maintenance department; reviews safety records to uphold standards of maximum safety for all maintenance Personnel.

Ensures that maintenance personnel are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance programs can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner

Facilitate the implementation of GMP & the alignment with the food safety System (HACCP).

Assesses relevant training needs for staff individuals, in consultation with the HR Department to enhance the team’s performance.

Other duties as assigned by the Management.
Production:

Be responsible for the operation of process line or whole Production area.

Manage the results of process/ factory production key performance indicators (KPIs)

Take prompt action to solve process problems to ensure safety, product quality, and machine efficiency.

Coordinate between different working processes of the whole production line
-
Implement and encourage World Class Manufacturing activities in area of responsibility and overall factory.
-
Manage process team and employee development.
-
Responsible for environmental factors identification, assessment, control and management.
-
Lead for total production activities, including planning and inventory.
-
Responsible for the production delivery according to lead time, specification, and cost.
Job Requirements

BSc of Engineering Science (Electrical/Mechanical major).
-
10-15 years hands-on of experience in UHT juice and dairy aseptic equipment installation/production/maintenance using Tetra Pack filters.
-
Experience not less than 7 years in Tetra Pak Machines is a must.
