Mosul Space is an innovation hub in Mosul work on developing the private sector thought supporting young entrepreneurs start or scale up their projects and support fresh graduated youth with capacity building programs and networking with the market to find a jobs. Mosul Space vision is to build strong innovative community of leaders in technology and business and we did this through our main four programs: 
  • Makerspace programs 
  • Co-working space and mentoring 
  • Capacity building programs in tech and business
  • Business incubation programs
Women Hackathon is a national wide Hackathon focus on develop a solution for women community challenges in Iraq by gather teams of innovators, entrepreneurs and technologist in one Hackathon and the winning team will develop proposal for their solution to be contracted and implement the solution with Hackathon partners.
This Hackathon is implemented by Mosul Space in partnership with Women for Women international, Recoded and Field Ready organizations and funded and supported by Germany cooperation GIZ thought ICT for youth in Iraq and Strengthening the Participation of Women in Iraq (SPW).
The following are illustrative responsibilities that will evolve over time and depend on organisational needs:
  • Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
  • Designing and controlling the project schedule.
  • Tracking and communicating project risks and opportunities.
  • Ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Organizing and attending stakeholder meetings.
  • Providing administrative support.
  • Liaising with clients to determine the project’s objectives.
  • Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary
  • Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions
  • Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
  • Determining project changes.
  • Undertaking project tasks as required.
  • Developing project strategies.
  • Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests
  • Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role
  • Experience in project management, from conception to delivery
  • An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
  • Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office and other digital tools
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g. Basecamp or Trello)
  • BSc in Engineering or Business administration or related field.
3 months contract started from Dec. 2020.
