Make an integral part of the project implementation by contributing with ideas and initiative
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual Reports by Gathering information/ photos and data
Monitor and assess the projects implementation of all projects, follow up the progress and prepare reports as necessary.
Assist the Head of field office in the liaison with the local authorities, donors and partners.
Assist the Head of field office to ensure coordination between the different projects and different departments inside QANDIL.
Assist the Head of field office in preparing plans, proposals and budget for new project.
Attends QANDIL program-related meetings. The incumbent is responsible for organizing the meetings and takes the minutes as per needs.
Develop relevant program materials and documents.
Translate or draft routine correspondence related to the program activities.
Translate program materials and meetings (English/Arabic/Kurdish) as needed.
Provision of requests for proposals documents, receipt of quotations, bids or proposals, their preliminary evaluations and preparation of purchase orders.
Support the program implementation, including preparing of data and drafting internal and donor reports as well as supervision of various teams with in the program.
Monitor and assess project implementation and prepare monitoring reports
Apply project management knowledge regarding development, staffing, budgeting and scheduling
Understanding organizational goals and objectives and creating programs that adhere to these guidelines
Create budgets for project costs and program expenditures. They work closely with other managers, vendors and financial supporters in developing, maintaining and ensuring adherence to budgets. This responsibility also includes reviewing grant proposals.
Manage and monitor grants and prepare funding reports.
Identify and contact new program partners for business expansion.
Prepare meeting agenda, organize meetings and distribute minutes.
Perform other duties, which may require by Head of field office.
Any other program related duties to ensure program success.
Bachelor Degree in Management;
Minimum 2 years’ experience in project management and implementation;
Fluency in Kurdish and English languages, Arabic is plus;
Familiar with using Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel and Word);
Good communication skills. Polite and respectful;
Flexibility with regards to long working hours or working in weekends especially during emergency situations.
Good data collection/analysis and excellent report writing skills.
Willing and able to travel across Erbil governorate independently.
Able to represent QANDIL and the humanitarian principles it stands for.
