Background
Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) is a Korean government agency responsible for grant aid to support poverty eradication and socio-economic development in developing countries, enhancing international development cooperation as well as strengthening partnerships with developing countries.
KOICA Erbil, Iraq Office plays a crucial role in establishing KOICA’s field-oriented aid programs. In particular, the office makes a great effort to maximize the effectiveness of aid programs by discussing policies and researching demand with local governments.
Duties and Responsibilities

Implement principles and best practices into coordinating especially training programs and monitor their effectiveness and relevancy;

Act as a liaison between the KRG counterparts for implementation of KOICA programs

Prepare summary reports of the meetings and discussions held with the KRG counterparts or other stakeholders

Prepare weekly/monthly news reports related to KRG and international donor agencies’ activities in the region

Provide translation/interpretation services

Assist with promoting the marketing and publishing of the ODA activities by KOICA in KRI, Iraq

Perform any other related responsibilities and duties assigned by the Head of Office

Requirements

At least 1- 2 years of relevant work experience - Experience with instruction or training, and administration

Experience at the international level is highly desirable.

Knowledge of competency assessment

Professional knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is a must

Excellent communication skills, particularly written

English and Kurdish fluency is a must; Arabic is a plus.
