Pottery Art Teacher

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Introducing ceramic to the students as science and art in simple and understood   methodologies.

  • Establishing healthy environment to positively encourage the students to attend the training and participating in the activities.

  • The teacher will ensure that all students will participate in the approved plan to the center management.

  • The plan clearly explains and identifies the input and the outcome of the   training.

  • Closely overseeing of the daily activities in the  classroom.

  • Regularly arrange assessment and ask the feedback from the  students.

  • Selecting materials appropriate to the design and to the students’ physical   applicability.

  • Shaping and designing materials without using sharp or harm  tools.

  • Positive charisma and encouraging students to work for sale and   exhibition.

  • Developing clear artistic objectives and a business  plan.

  • Any other duties related to the job and contribute in developing the  course.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND  SKILLS):

  • Fluency in Arabic. Knowledge in English and Kurdish is  desirable.

  • Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill for Pottery Art Teacher  Job

  • Two years’ work experience as a Pottery Art  Teacher.

  • Minimum Education Requirements /  Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pottery Arts

  • Master’s degree in Pottery Art is  preferred.
