To receive, protect, secure and dispense all supplies brought in to the pharmacy under his/her control. To ensure proper documentation is maintained for all stocks received and dispensed under supervision of the pharmacist.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

In supervision of the pharmacist, he/she will ensure the maintenance of medicine and medical equipment’s stock and storage.

He/She will work closely with warehouse manager in relation to the storage of all medicines and medical supplies.

Receive, check-in and distribute products from all incoming orders.

He/She will assist the dispensers and store keeper.

Maintain communication with Pharmacist and team regarding workflow and task completion

He/She will ensure that supplies are available daily for the medical teams.

Assist the pharmacist to liaise with WHO and GIK in relation to medical supplies

Any other tasks as assigned by Pharmacist and/or Project coordinator.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Trained Pharmacist assistant or nurse, qualified from recognized center or medical certificate.

Previous experience of NGO work.

Experience working with IDPs.

Educated with fluency in English and Local languages.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to priorities.

Excellent inter-personal and communication skills

Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality of data and records

A good knowledge of pharmacy procedures and understanding of general medical and pharmacy terminology.

Ability to manage a team and demonstrate flexibility, motivation, and maturity

Good knowledge of quality standards and quality controls related to pharmacy practices.
