Role and Responsibilities
•Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
•Configure and install software, Wireless, Voice, Switches. routers and other network devices
•Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness
•Mentor team members on technical issues
•Communicate with users when needed
•Maintain complete technical documentation
•Providing internal training for the network engineers and other staff as required
•Performing on-going analysis of network and service resilience
•Monitoring the overall performance of systems to assess the need for updates, upgrades, enhancements, preventive maintenance and new systems, and recommending options for Upgrading and improving the performance of systems.
•Network documentation and policy design/compliance.
•Planning, designing, developing, configuring and commissioning networks and associated systems for network monitoring and incident management
•Design and implementation of the processes, procedures and operational management associated with high levels of network availability and risk management
•Troubleshooting and diagnosing network problems, and determining the most appropriate means of resolving problems and issues to improve network performance.
•24 x 7 Support of Infrastructure Services
Qualifications and Education Requirements
•Industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer
•CCIE R/S or CCNP with equivalent experience, with proven specialization in either Voice or Wireless or equivalent experience Solid background in network administration and architecture
•5+ years’ experience
•In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)
•Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. PRTG network tools)
•Solid understanding of network operating systems (Cisco XE, Cisco IOS)
•Sharp troubleshooting skills
•Ability to work independently
•Organizational and mentoring skills
•BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
•Understanding and experience with: MPLS, QoS
•Authentication systems using RADIUS,TACACS etc
Preferred Skills

Thorough understanding and knowledge of network operating systems, network equipment and networking protocols

Sound knowledge of network techniques, latest protocols.

Design and implementation experience for change, incident and problem management processes (preferably ITIL based).

Working knowledge of MS Office, MS Visio and MS Project
