National Sales Manager

Duty Station: Baghdad or Erbil
The Role: under the direct supervision of the General Manager, the National Sales Manager is responsible to meet planned sales’ goals. Oversees the activities and performance of the sales team. Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales targets & forecast.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Create and develop programs for national sales and ensure its implementation.
  • Ensure the successful achievement of the company’s sales goals across all its regions
  • Ensure sales volume is at its maximum, maintaining product mix, and selling price
  • Oversee company’s sales performance at regional levels
  • Setting individual sales targets with the sales team.
  • Coordinating with marketing department for any activities.
  • Recruit and train sales employees for effective delivery and coaching of sales team.
  • Participate in market strategy building by providing useful information from sales activities.
  • Promoting the organization and products.
  • Schedule occasional meeting with regional managers.
  • Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.
  • Implement Area sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
  • Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company's relationship with them.
  • Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs.
  • Continually assess current business distribution channels, develop and evaluate their performance.
  • Manage conflict and ensuring alignment with company’s plans.
  • Prepare reports as needed.
 
Key Requirements:
  • Three years’ experience in FMCG as sales manager
  • Experience in managing and leading sales team
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
  • Experience in customer relationship management.
  • Experience managing and directing a sales team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Computer skills, good in Microsoft offices programs such as word, excel, outlook and etc.
  • Ready to Travel to all cities of Iraq frequently.
