To provide MAG Iraq Programme with logistics support.
-
The Mechanic is responsible for the repair and maintenance and upkeep of all MAG Iraq Logistics Center Vehicles, and Generators including VHF – HF Radios.
Detailed Responsibilities
-
Performing repairs and services for MAG ELC Vehicles and VHF– HF Radios to Ensure Vehicles and assets are in a safe, roadworthy condition at all times.

Undertake all servicing, inspection, repair and overhaul of MAG ELC Vehicles and VHF– HF Radios to Ensure Vehicles, VHF– HF Radios under the direction of the Logistics Manager & Logistics Officer.

Using ELC tools properly and keeping them clean and tidy.

Inspect Vehicles and VHF– HF Radios properly and report to the Logistics Manager all his findings in the vehicle.

Work safely, and in accordance with the guidelines set by Logistics management staff.

Other duties required as directed by Logistics management staff.

Strong communication skills, and written spoken English preferable

Supervisory skills; able to communicate effectively with colleagues from different programme functions

Proficient in the use of MS Office, including database management

Able to drive.
