KAT Group is an Iraqi registered private business group established in 2005. It consists of several business companies across the country including different fields of construction, oil services, transportation, trading of oil and gas products as well as general trading. KAT Group’s headquarter is located in Suliaymaniyah province of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI).
Job Overview:
The Marketing Officer is the key contact person between KAT Group’s marketing department and costumers of the KAT products. S/he will plan to build strong relationships both internally and externally to ensure KAT Group’s marketing practices and procedures are met effectively and with best standards.
Main Responsibilities Include:
The Marketing Officer will be expected to perform the following duties, in collaboration with other KAT Group employees and consultants:

Supports KAT Group’s marketing campaign with both internal and external costumers of the KAT companies’ products.

Contribute to the development of the marketing programs of the KAT companies in cooperation with the marketing manager.

Supports the marketing manager in daily activities of marketing aspects of KAT Group.

Prepare daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to the marketing manager.

Contributing to the annual sales and marketing plans of KAT Group’s companies.

Makes sure all marketing plans are met and conducted in proper timescales.

Supports the marketing manager in reviewing marketing plans to ensure the effectiveness of all marketing activities.
Required Qualifications and Experience:

Education: University degree in marketing or similar fields such as business administration.

Previous experience in marketing roles to minimum 5-10 years

Very strong communication skills.

Fluency in written and spoken Kurdish and Arabic. Very good written and spoken English is also required.

Skilled in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Internet.

Personal Competencies: Personal ability to deal in a humble and dignified ways with colleagues.

Ability to meet meeting deadlines on time and work under pressure.
