Marketing manager is responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for an entire company in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.
Also responsible on day-to-day tasks include managing marketing tasks opportunities, working on surveys and market assessment and leading market research efforts to uncover the viability of current and existing products/services, and liaising with the Sales Director.
It also responsible for working with executives to determine budgets and targets, he/she is often charged with developing pricing strategies for products and services in coordinate with the Sales director.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managing all marketing for the company and activities within the marketing department.
Developing the marketing strategy for the company in line with company targets & objectives.
Working closely with the Sales Director to devise an effective marketing strategy.
Recruitment and selection of new members of the marketing team.
Carrying out competitor analysis to ensure the company’s marketing strategy is competing effectively.
Reporting on all marketing activities to the Sales Director.
Working closely with other heads of departments on company projects.
Completing various marketing projects at the request of senior directors.
Making sure that brand guidelines are adhered to in all marketing activities across the company.
Representing the company at industry events and conferences.
Coordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities.
Overseeing the company is marketing budget.
Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans.
Planning and implementing promotional campaigns.
Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results.
Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity.
Preparing and run marketing campaigns.
Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications.
Creating a wide range of different marketing materials.
Working closely with design agencies and assisting with new product launches.
Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.
Analyzing potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication / Computer Engineering, Computer Science (MBA is a plus) or equivalent work experience.
Must have a minimum 5 years working in Marketing and Development of IT field.
Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels
Excellent communication skills& interpersonal skill.

Professional judgment and discretion that comes from years of experience in the field
Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges
Must have good understanding of IT technical requirements (having adequate technical knowledge about current software technologies and solutions with enthusiasm for new technology and its commercial uses) and should have managed technical discussions with end customers.
