SWEDO is a Swedish non-profit, non-political, non-religious development aid organization that was founded in 1991 in Stockholm, Sweden. Having continuously operated in the Kurdistan Region ever since, SWEDO’s main priorities of work are construction and infrastructure activities, refugee and IDP initiatives, health, water, sanitation and hygiene, and capacity building.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collect and analyze necessary information and data for tracking progress
Closely accompany QANDIL’s activities subject to priority and schedule of monitoring department
Contribute to preparing monitoring reports (and plans in the future)
Ensure that the correct policies and procedures are followed during the time of implementation § Understand all aspects of each activity he/she monitors and identify areas of improvement & strengths § Being fully aware of the mandate of QANDIL and funders regarding each activity.
Follow up on the records of monitoring reports and sequence of activities. § Other related tasks to monitoring activities i.e. operational, administration, etc.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor (s).
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor Degree in Project Management;
Minimum of two years’ experience in the same position or field, previous experience in reporting is preferred;
Fluency in Kurdish, Arabic & English languages; § Experience of collecting data at the community level
Good level of proficiency in Windows Excel and quantitative analysis § Ability to design M&E tools, surveys, surveillance systems, and evaluations
Demonstrated ability to train and build the capacity of others § Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with colleagues from varied cultures and professional backgrounds;
Ability to handle confidential matters, meet deadlines and work under pressure;
Personal commitment, efficiency, flexibility, and drive for results.
