  • Compile monthly financial transactions and keep relevant records for each transaction in the financial system.
  • Trace, track and expedite purchase processes.
  • Create and maintain contact with to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Makes computations for balancing and maintaining ledgers, completing reports, and providing information upon request for specific purposes; balances and reconciles monies received.
  • Responsible for cash management.
  • Receive cash amounts from Qandil interdependent agents.
  • Checks documents related to contracts payments for accuracy of name, amounts, and date, pay cash amounts and keep records of all installments.
  • Review bills, invoices and purchase orders.
  • Ensure all payments are processed in time.
  • Handle all procurement requests related to the project in Basra.
  • Perform other duties may be required by the supervisor.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
  • Bachelor Degree in Accountancy or Finance;
  • At least one year experience in the same position or field;
  • Fluent in Arabic and good English report writing skills required;
  • Honest, hardworking and independent
  • Good communication skills. Polite and respectful
  • Familiar with using Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel and Word).
  • Willing and able to travel across Basra governorate independently.
  • Able to represent QANDIL and the humanitarian principles it stands for.
