Compile monthly financial transactions and keep relevant records for each transaction in the financial system.

Trace, track and expedite purchase processes.

Create and maintain contact with to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Makes computations for balancing and maintaining ledgers, completing reports, and providing information upon request for specific purposes; balances and reconciles monies received.

Responsible for cash management.
-
Receive cash amounts from Qandil interdependent agents.
-
Checks documents related to contracts payments for accuracy of name, amounts, and date, pay cash amounts and keep records of all installments.

Review bills, invoices and purchase orders.
-
Ensure all payments are processed in time.
-
Handle all procurement requests related to the project in Basra.
-
Perform other duties may be required by the supervisor.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS)

Bachelor Degree in Accountancy or Finance;

At least one year experience in the same position or field;

Fluent in Arabic and good English report writing skills required;

Honest, hardworking and independent

Good communication skills. Polite and respectful

Familiar with using Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel and Word).

Willing and able to travel across Basra governorate independently.

Able to represent QANDIL and the humanitarian principles it stands for.
