Work Scope:
This role is based in Erbil with frequent travel to multiple warehousing, drilling and operations sites. The L&M lead will work closely with the C&P, PLP, HSE teams as well as the drilling & operations teams, ensuring that all logistics and materials needs are being met in a safe, efficient and compliant manner.
Key Accountabilities

Support the drilling and operations teams in coordinating all logistics activity which includes but is not limited to warehousing, freight forwarding, customs clearance, land transport, crude oil trucking, rig moves, mechanical handling and lifting, water and diesel supply.

Support the drilling and operations teams in coordinating all materials activity which includes but is not limited to inventory management, storage, consolidation, movement, stock checks & reconciliation, disposals, systems implementations and QA/QC.

Support with customs clearance, freight forwarding and general expediting when necessary.

Support the L&M manager and HSE department in conducting audits and risk assessments, both internally and on 3rd party service providers and equipment to ensure compliance with Genel’s standards and statutory requirements.

Support the L&M manager on surveys, studies, incident investigations related to logistics and materials handling.

Support the C&P function with tender evaluations and rate negotiations where necessary.

Support the L&M manager on contract performance monitoring (through KPIs) 8. Support the PLP function with creating procedures and standards

Show strong HSE commitment during planning and operational phases of the project. 10. Participate in reconnaissance trips with Drilling or PLP Departments.

Ensures all work within the area of responsibility is adequately documented and lessons learned are captured for the benefit of future operations worldwide.

Build effective relationships and interact professionally with internal / external stakeholders and service companies.

Follow up on a daily basis with drilling and production operations and plan ahead in order to ensure all requirements can be met.
Education
College or High School Diploma.
Supply chain / Logistics related certification is a plus
Location and Timing
Based inErbil with frequent travel to rig, warehousing, drilling and operational sites either in Sarta or Qara Dagh. This will be a 6/2 rotational role to begin with.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Work Experience

Fluent in English and Kurdish.

Physically be able to inspect and audit equipment and operations at multiple locations.

10+ years of experience in materials, logistics, inventory management, land transport and lifting experience.

Experience with crude oil trucking preferred.

Knowledge of drilling operations and materials.
-
Ex-freight forwarding and customs experience is a plus.

Good leadership, writing, and communication skills both verbal and written. 8. Pragmatic proactive self-starter who can work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision.

Experience in KRI.

Sensitivity working with different cultures and diverse backgrounds. 11. Proficient with Microsoft Office
