World Vision - Iraq Office is looking for a highly qualified and motivated person for the position of Livelihood / ED Project Coordinator– Duhok,Telafar

 
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
 
This Purpose of Position will be used in the WVI or local Careers site, and if applicable, advertisements. Please describe the role in 2-3 concise sentences. Describe the purpose of this position and how this position contributes to achieving department objectives and the management and performance of others.
 
 
To provide oversight for Tel Afar Conflict Sensitive Livelihoods Restoration and Enhancement Project  and lead the project staff, support the, organize capacity building activities for the project team, to coordinate the interactions between the other sector teams and technical departments within the WV Iraq, to liaise with stakeholders on a national level, and to be responsible for all the project’s technical documentation including the financial reporting to SO. Key duties will include; support in setting internal procedures tasks distribution and follow-up, create and adjust budgets, write weekly and monthly technical reports, assess team capacity needs and recruit staff when required, create communication material about the project activities.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Coordination by mutual adjustment between support function leads, project sector leads, external stakeholders managers, through the design of effective two way communications and mechanisms for mutual adjustment for the Tel Afar Conflict Sensitive Livelihoods Restoration and Enhancement Project  
  • Support the Zonal Manager and Technical advisor in creating clarity about the overall direction, values and purpose of the WISE project units; and to design, at the national level. Through providing inputs for Strategy development, risks assessment and capacity staff building needs
  • Provide the project with continuous feedback on marketplace conditions, technology changes and all external factors that are likely to be relevant to it in the future; Spread the  project identity and message into national stakeholders
  • Facilitate a channel through which resources are negotiated, direct line management instructions are issued (on an exception-only basis) and accountability reports flow upwards to keep the meta-level management in touch with events.
  • Manage the creation of sub-systems (Staff, volunteers, networks) based on the diversified needs of their activities requirements.
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Attend and participate in weekly meeting with the direct line manager

 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
 
  • MBA degree or BA in relevant field or management experience with 3 years of outstanding experience
  • Proven ability to develop and communicate a common vision among diverse partners
  • Experience in working with procedures
  • Excellent organizational, analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders
  • Fluency in English, Arabic languages2 years of experience in an INGO or International Development Agency
  • 2 years of professional in business development
  • Fluency in English, and Arabic languages
  • Knowledge of the Ninewa contexts.
  • Advanced skills of Information technologies (IT) and MS software
  • Experiences in human resources management
 
Complete Travel and/or Work Environment statements if applicable.
 
  • The position is be based in Tel Afar
  • The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 60% of the time.   
  • Be prepared to travel to implementation sites and regional, global meetings as required.
