Assisting the Project Director and Team Leaders in all research and project development matters which include planning, reporting, monitoring, evaluation and connected quality standard control. Furthermore, preparation of public relation and reporting materials as well as other PR related activities. The position holder will support the Project Director in internally coordinating the activities of all fields of action. In addition, the position supports the implementation of the project’s Field of Action 1 – “Economic Transformation”. The position entails translation duties.
In this context, the position holder fulfils the following tasks:
Research and Development/ M&E
The position holder will develop, commission, and interpret studies which serve as baselines for the project’s indicators and as basis for project development in close cooperation with the project director. In addition, monitoring data and evaluation studies will be interpreted and elaborated in concise external and internal reports. The quality of M&E efforts of the project will be controlled.
The position holder will develop and elaborate public relation material according to GIZ standards and regulations. This includes journalistic work to create success stories with stakeholders and beneficiaries, the design, and print of said materials.
Support to FoA 1 implementation
The position holder will support the implementation of activities in the field of action 1 along the project cycle and assist its team leader in all respective matters.
Other duties/additional tasks
The position holder will support the project with translation duties and any additional tasks of if deemed necessary.
C.Required qualifications, competencies and experience Qualifications Professional experience
Education: University degree
Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant occupational experience. Work for an international company or development organization is an advantage.
Experiences in research, journalism, project assistance are an advantage.
Tasks require constructive creative thinking, sometimes also conceptual initiative.
Above average academic Arabic and fluent English language proficiencies are mandatory (written and spoken).

Office Software literacy
German language skills are an advantage
Team player, proactive and responsible personality, innovative and flexible.
Ability to travel in Iraq and abroad for limited periods
