Junior Copywriter
- Proofreading all copy across social posts, newsletters etc. to ensure it’s perfect before going out
- Taking briefs and working with our studio and account management teams to deliver the briefs to clients
- Creating content for ad hoc projects and marketing campaigns
- Updating copy on the company and client websites as required using a content management system (CMS)
- Developing relationships with clients, business partners and suppliers — liaising with them as needed to deliver activity and projects
- Supporting company marketing activities, including creating content for social media, updating the website, helping with events etc.
- Providing general support to the team to ensure the smooth running of the office
Core requirements:
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Exceptional copywriting and proofreading skills
- A demonstrable understanding of writing for different media, including social media posts, blog articles, PR pieces and e-newsletters
- Expert awareness of tone of voice and a knack for switching from one writing style to another
- Proficiency in key Microsoft applications
- Basic knowledge of WordPress desirable but not essential
- Confidence when liaising with clients and colleagues
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
- A varied portfolio of work that demonstrates writing for different clients and/or media
