Job Summary: We are looking for a creative and skilled Jewelry CAD Designer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine jewelry design and be proficient in
CAD software. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can translate conceptual
designs into 3D models that are both aesthetically pleasing and manufacturable.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed 3D models of jewelry based on sketches and concepts.
Collaborate with the design team to refine jewelry concepts and ensure designs align with Al-Azeez
Jewelry’s brand identity.
Produce realistic renderings for client approval and marketing materials.
Prepare detailed technical drawings that specify dimensions, materials, and gemstone settings.
Calculate material weights and costs to assist in pricing and budgeting.
Revise designs based on feedback from team members and clients.
Maintain an organized library of designs and CAD files.
Stay current with jewelry design trends and CAD technology.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the creative process.
Work closely with manufacturers to ensure accurate translation of designs into final products.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Jewelry Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in jewelry design and CAD modeling.
Proficiency in Rhino, MatrixGold, or similar CAD software.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of jewelry designs.
Experience in creating technical drawings for jewelry manufacturing.
Understanding of jewelry production processes and materials.
Keen eye for design aesthetics and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of gemology and different gemstone settings.
Experience with 3D printing processes and prototyping.
Familiarity with jewelry manufacturing standards and quality control measures.
Creative problem-solving skills.
