Summary of Job
Collect, Analyze and synthesize data collected from the filed in collaboration with the head of office. Provide guidance for protection staff on how to compile a qualitative data. Assist head of office in drafting daily, weekly and monthly reports and attend meeting with partners and donors.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
 Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collect, analyze and synthesize data collected from the field in collaboration with the Mosul Head of Office.
  • Provide guidance for Protection Assistants on how to compile and summarize the qualitative data.
  • Assist Mosul Head of Office in drafting the daily, weekly, and monthly reports of the Khabat Office.
  • Assist Mosul Head of Office in verifying the accuracy of the data.
  • Support staff in ensuring documents and communication records are filled up-to-date.
  • Attend relevant meeting of partners and the donor community to report QANDIL activities.
  • Support Mosul Head of Office with the assistance of the communication manager, to write short success stories from the Khabat office to increase QANDIL’s visibilities.
  • Assist Mosul Head of Office during visits from journalists and direct news enquires and help promoting the QANDIL organization and the Khabat office activities to a range of audience.
  • Assist Mosul Head of Office with translations into Arabic.
  • Stay overtime when required to meet the needs of unforeseen IDP influxes.
Perform other duties as selected by supervisor (Mosul Head of Office).
 Bachelor Degree in Project Management or Social Studies;
  • Minimum 2-3 years previous experience in the same position or International NGO;
  • Fluency in English language, Kurdish and Arabic are preferred;
  • Proficiency in Ms. Office (word, Excel and power point);
  • Excellent analytical & reporting skills, plus strategic planning;
  • Confidentiality - Ability to handle sensitive matters appropriately;
  • Good knowledge of protection concerns;
  • Excellent communication & organizational skills;
  • Able to work under pressure and meet the deadlines;
