Scope and General Purpose

The Senior Human Resources Supervisor has overall responsibility in assisting the head of HR on the company’s HR functions in relation to Compensation, Welfare and Benefits, Recruitment and Selection, Employee Relations that maintains and enhances the organization's human resources by planning, implementing human resources policies, programs, and practices that emphasize quality, continuous improvement, and high performance.

Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel;   assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.

 

1. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administers the Payroll preparation and compensation program

  • Organize the employee compensation, pay and benefits when positions are transferred or new positions are funded.

  • Data Entry of all information to the payroll system

  • Acting as liaison between Human Resources and other offices such as Finance in coordination with department offices for payroll concerns.

  • Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends directing the processing of benefit claims;

  • Receives calls from management and employees regarding salaries, payments and among others

  • Updates and reconciles records with administrative section

  • Maintains records of charging devices for employees and manage the charging monthly.

  • Performs record keeping and clerical functions (e.g. scheduling, copying, faxing, data inputting, transmitting, telephoning, taking messages, responding to written and verbal inquiries, etc.) for the purpose of supporting the needs of the department.

  • Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.

  • Provide advice and information to management and employees on personnel policies, procedures, including equal opportunity, anti - discrimination and occupational health and safety programs.

  • Maintains human resource staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

  • Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.

  • Maintains records of leave (annual, sick, temp) of employees and establish the implementation of the policy on leave.

  • Evaluates and assess applications of leave and advise for proper execution thereof.

  • Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.

  • Maintains human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.


2. Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Requires at least  4 years progressive human resources telecom experience in a high-volume environment.

  • Experience must include hands-on responsibility for the full scope of human resources activities, both operations and analysis.

  • Degree in Human Resources or related fields in Administration from an accredited college or university in public, private.
