- Responsible for following EMS, standards and policies guidelines given to them by their superiors.
Tasks and Resposibilities
- Ensures operatives and personnel adhere to Company safety procedures and wear the correct PPE.
- Ensures vehicles and operators have valid certificates and licenses
- Attends tool box talks and advises on safety issues
- Prepares emergency plans and ensures their implementation as per the company's policies and procedures
- Monitors terminal security and safety
- Performs safety inspections
- Conducts accident investigations, and suggests preventive measures
- Examines potential unsafe working conditions and provides corrective actions
- Identifies and ensures HSE resources availability on sites as per Company safety policy
- Ensures that all accidents (and near-misses) being recorded/reported are investigated and analyzed taking corrective & preventive actions and lesson learned.
- Ensures the implementation emergency response plan, and crisis management are in place.
- Analyzes the hazard data identified across the sites and ensure controls are in place.
- Prepare Risk Assessment upon requirements for the operation
- Prepare JHA
- Develop the Stop Card System
- Prepare and submit accident, Incident and near miss reports
