We are currently seeking an experienced human resources manager to head our HR department, who will maintain and enhance the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
The human resources manager will:
  • Manage HR operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting,
  • Promote and implement human resource values by planning and managing human resources programs and directing staff training, counseling, and disciplining staff.
  • Take the lead in developing organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues.
  • Be the link between the employees and the management structure. And is responsible for guiding the administrative tasks, handling employee management, and coordinating the functions within various departments.
  • Be responsible for operating a company’s human resources department.
  • Supervise human resources employees and provides support to upper-level management for strategic staffing planning, compensation and benefits, employee training and development, and labor relations.
  • Promote a positive work environment and culture.
 
Daily tasks include:
  • Employee orientation implementation
  • Database management procedures
  • Employee records management
  • Benefits program management
  • The ideal candidate will have over 12 years’ experience in an HR role and experience leading international teams in sectors of construction, general contracting and general trading.


Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Managing company staff, including coordinating and supporting the recruitment process.
  • Orientation and onboarding newcomers to the company.
  • Determining suitable salaries and remuneration.
  • Providing the necessary support systems for payroll requirements.
  • Developing adequate induction and training.
  • Supporting employee opportunities for professional development.
  • Managing succession planning of staff.
  • Assisting with the performance management and review process.
  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.
  • Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
  • Maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
  • Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
  • Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management; directing the processing of benefit claims; obtaining and evaluating benefit contract bids; awarding benefit contracts; designing and conducting educational programs on benefit programs.
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource governmental requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
  • Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
  • Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Completes human resource operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Maintains human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Maintains human resource staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Supports management by providing human resources direction, advice, and counsel.
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members through the process of understanding the needs and responsibilities of human resources within a large multinational organization
  • Understanding of cultural norms, traditions, and working with diverse teams.
  • Guides management and employee actions by developing HR guidelines, communicating the guidelines and enforcing organization values
  • Leads the company’s compliance with all existing governmental and labor legal requirements.
  • Maintains minimal company exposure to lawsuits.
  • Ability to work closely with international counterparts to limit workplace issues due to the multicultural nature of our business
  • Establishes and maintains company records and reports; able to direct others in the organization and adherence to record-keeping guidelines
  • Maintains company organization charts and employee directory.

  • English, Kurdish and Arabic languages are a requirement.
