A. Responsibilities
The HR Assistant is:

Performing general services
-
Assisting the HR Unit with its tasks as instructed
-
Assisting with recruitment filing in line with GIZ filing rules
-
Responsible for the recruitment database and monitoring system
-
Further developing instruments and assisting in introducing innovation and change
-
Assisting with filing documents in reference files or DMS in line with GIZ’s filing rules
-
Ensures that the necessary office supplies are available
-
Completes forms and tables in accordance with specific instructions from the HR unit
B. The HR Assistant performs the following tasks
1- Support for HR Unit
The HR Assistant:
-
Photocopies and scans documents as needed;
-
Organizes and compiles information materials;
-
Labels files in accordance with GIZ filing rules
-
Updating the monitoring system regularly
-
Monitors and updates the recruitment database and the different recruitment platforms
-
Organizes the recruitment mailbox in accordance with the information given by the unit
-
Assists in organizing the selection process (e.g. interviews)
2- General tasks
The HR Assistant:
-
Delivers and collects documents for the HR Unit.
3- Other duties/tasks
The HR Assistant:
-
Performs other duties/tasks at the request of the HR Manager/Senior HR Advisor.
C. Required qualifications, competences and experience
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in administration, Humanities, or any other relevant field for this position
Professional experience
-
1 to 3 years’ experience in Human Resources.
Other knowledge, additional competences
-
good working knowledge of IT technologies (related software, phone, fax, email, the internet) and computer applications (e.g. MS Office)
-
Excellent knowledge of English, Kurdish and Arabic; languages, German language is an asset
-
willingness to upskill as required by the tasks to be performed – corresponding measures are agreed with management
