MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Implement QANDIL projects in Basra Governorate in timely and successful manner.

Implement the work plan for each activity and follow up as per the set deadlines.

Manage allocated budgets and follow up activities budget.

Responsible for the safety and security of staff members
-
Pay regular visits to activities.
-
Organize project documents and pay close attention to project detail and cost effectiveness.
-
Supervise financial aspects of the project in coordination with the finance personnel and monitor expenditures.
-
Responsible for close monitoring any procurement activity
-
Manage daily activities in office and maintain effective working relationships with employees
-
Participate in recruitment of new staff, in drafting TORs, in interviews, shortlisting, etc.
-
Develop good working relationships with government officials and organizations in each thematic area and program site
-
Identifying future opportunities for intervention.
-
Ensuring the visibility of QANDIL’s activities and funders in during implementation.
-
Supporting in preparation communication material as per need.
-
Handle confidential issues.
-
Support and facilitate M&E staff for incepting and monitoring activity.
-
Ensure implementation of the recommendations raised by M&E after endorsement by County Director.
-
Prepare and submit all required reports, and proposal drafting as required.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS):

Master degree in Statistics or Project management;
-
5 years’ experience in the same position or Managerial position in NGO;

Fluency in Arabic & English Languages;
-
Excellent Reporting Skill in English is required.

Strong organizational and communication skills.
-
Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel programs.
