We are looking for a highly accurate, detail oriented, knowledgeable on statistics Financial Manager with excellent organizational and analytical skills, strong problem-solving skills, and an investigative nature, to oversee all financial activities. Responsibilities include managing financial tasks and ensuring that finances are used beneficially. You should also ensure that investments and finances comply with regulations.
To ensure success, you should have an analytical mind and a keen understanding of how a business works in the real world not just on paper. You should have a deep commercial awareness, strong numeracy skills, and a keen interest in the growth, efficiency, and profitability of an organization. You should demonstrate excellent leadership qualities and experience in modeling financial strategies. Top candidates will have outstanding communication and report writing skills with a superb technical ability and fantastic negotiation skills. You should maintain the finances of the organization effectively and increase profitability.
Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize and execute financial tasks and projects of the organization.
  • Make estimates of funds required for short and long-term financial objectives of the organization.
  • Develop and implement plans for budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
  • Complete financial reports, lead month-end closing process and conduct monthly financial forecast.
  • Prepare business activity reports, financial statements, and forecasts.
  • Make sure financial legal requirements are met.
  • Find ways to reduce or maintain costs by studying financial reports and business process.
  • Analyze market trends to discover business opportunities and maximize profits.
  • Aid management in financial decisions.
  • Maintain up to date financial system knowledge.
  • Achieve proper mix of equity and debt to minimize cost and maximize operational profit.
  • Strategize on fund procurement through banks and other financial institutions.
  • Prudently make investments on assets that maximize returns.
  • Provide financial insight and analysis to drive the business performance of the organization.
  • Manage and monitor metrics, KPI tracking and reports.
  • Evaluate financial performance of the organization and measure returns on investments.
  • Understand and calculate risks involved in the financial activities of the organization.
  • Forecasting financial results.
  • Overseeing the budgets.
  • Conducting risk management.
  • Evaluating and initiating investments.
  • Allocating resources and managing finances.
  • Recommending cost reduction strategies.
  • Travel is necessary to visit sites and staying on the project for a designated duration.  
  • Working hours are typically standard office hours, but strict deadlines mean longer hours, weekends and being on-call are all possible and expected
Skills and Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or related (essential).
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license (essential)
  • 5 years of work experience as a Finance Manager (essential).
  • Proven experience as a Head of Finance or similar position.
  • Solid understanding of financial management and accounting.
  • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the superb organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP and other financial planning software.
  • FP&A, investment banking, business administration, or management consulting experience.
  • Excellent ability to problem solving along with solid analytical skills, understanding of business process and systems optimization.
  • Comfortable interacting with all levels of management in multiple areas.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting.
  • Ability to review data and make relevant management decisions.
  • Strong financial system and business administration understanding.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective leadership qualities.
  • Fluent in English.
