MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Compile monthly financial transactions and keep relevant records for each transaction in the financial system.

Makes computations for balancing and maintaining ledgers, completing reports, and providing information upon request for specific purposes; balances and reconciles monies received.

Responsible for cash management of the main safe.

Receive cash amounts from Qandil interdependent agent.

Checks documents related to contracts payments for accuracy of name, amounts,and date, pay cash amounts and keep records of all installments.

Direct and coordinate activities of other field offices accountants who performaccounting and bookkeeping tasks.

Perform other duties may be required by the supervisor.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS):

Bachelor Degree or Diploma in finance or accounting;

One year previous NGO or humanitarian experience is an advantage.

Speaks English and Kurdish. Arabic language is Essential.

Honest, hardworking and independent

Good communication skills. Polite and respectful

Familiar with using Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel and Word).

Willing and able to travel across Dohuk governorate independently.

Able to represent QANDIL and the humanitarian principles it stands for.
