MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Compile monthly financial transactions and keep relevant records for each transaction in the financial system.

Make computations for balancing and maintain ledgers, complete reports and provide information upon request for specific purposes; balances and reconciles money received.

Responsible for cash management and cash custody , and perform the daily routine work (Receive and pay approved cash amount, perform cash count, expenditures forecast, … etc )

Prepare monthly expenditure summary, monitor budget lines and ensure that the expenditures are within the budget limit, and arrange with the head accountant and the finance manager when in need.

Supervise cash assistance activities, monitor bank accounts balances, prepare and hand cheques to beneficiaries & review the documents submitted.

Participate in tendering committee.

Responsible for distribution of incentives and medical reimbursement as agreed with the donors to persons of concerns.

Perform other duties may be required by supervisor.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS):

Bachelor degree in Accountancy or Finance.

One year experience in Accountant position or field.

Speak Arabic and Kurdish fluently with Good command of English Language.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Word & excel programs.
