Duhok, Kurdistan
JOB SUMMARY:
· Perform troubleshooting on the electrical equipment.
· Carry out maintenance tasks by instructions and requirements issued by Electrical Supervisor or Electrical Engineer.
· Manage/Operate different types of tools/instruments as instructed by the Supervisor.
· Conduct electrical maintenance jobs without endangering any person's health and safety.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Participate in and perform maintenance and troubleshooting on the Power Plant electrical, instrumentation, and control equipment by the work assignments issued by the Electrical Supervisor or Electrical Engineer.
· Assist in the duty to ensure the correct function of all electrical, instrumentation, and control equipment in the Power Plant.
· Perform work in coordination with the operational function of the Power Plant.
· Participate in unscheduled maintenance or troubleshooting when required by the Electrical Supervisor or Electrical Engineer.
· Conduct work by the administrative regulations of the Power Plant.
· Work according to the weekly work schedule stated by the Maintenance Manager.
· Work outside the normal working hours and holidays, if necessary, in case of a breakdown or major maintenance of electrical equipment.
· Flexible attitudes towards shift work with changing work hours caused by shift rotation.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Degree: Qualified Electrician or Electrical Engineer.
· Language: Good command of English
· Experience and Technical Knowledge:
o Previous power plant experience (REPP) or experience from industry.
o Practical experience with field instrumentation of Automated machinery/Systems.
o Experience with LV / HV systems up to 11 kV.
