Producer Responsibilities:
- Receiving all RAW footage and b-roll from producers, then assembling and transferring/uploading all material to a PC
- All archived footage must be organized according to our digital archiving/naming system and be easy to access with clear titles and categorization
- Edit video and sound bite projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating, and inserting static and motion graphics, titling & subtitling, adding music and sound effects/voice-over/SFX
- Professionally color grade all video edits and submit drafts to Head of Department or clients if permitted by Line Manager
- Have a good understanding of properly importing footage and assets into editing software, codecs and formats of deliverables, and composition size of digital and TV monitors
- Have a good understanding of color grading and shot matching from different cameras and equipment
- Deliver final drafts of video content to Head of Department or clients and re-edit based on feedback notes, and final delivery and submission of a project
- Work closely with Directors to present a final product that matches their vision
- Participate in on-field video shoots for projects that require the editor’s input (TVCs, important projects, etc.)
- Create at least one excellent passion project per quarter in line with the line manager to be submitted for each quarterly evaluation
- Work independently, as well as part of a team, to establish project deliverables and ensure all delivery deadlines are met in a timely manner
