Driver

Location: Sulaimani / Arbat / Refugee Camp

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Deliver or drive employees to the project sites or training centers.
2. Deliver goods to people or companies.
3. Take orders in person or over the phone.
4. Determine address where package is going.
5. Check to see if package is damaged.
6. Load merchandise into van or truck.
7. Follow traffic signs and street signs to get to destination.
8. Inspect and maintain vehicle, adding fluids and oil as needed.
9. Check tires, brakes, lights, and gas.
10. Add fuel when running low.
11. Take payments when needed.
12. Present change and receipts.
13. Ensure address on package matches up to delivery address.
14. Monitor traffic conditions to avoid delays.
15. Maintain logs of packages delivered.
16. Ensure inventory loads match shipping papers.

Education / Personal Qualification:

1. Good driving record with no traffic violations  
2. Excellent organizational and time management skills 
3. Valid professional driver’s license.
4. Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
5. Build positive relationships with customers
6. Well-developed interpersonal skills
7. Critical thinking and problem solving.
8. Communication effectiveness skills
9. Team working skills
10. Good contextual knowledge of local issues, organizational relationships, social and cultural constraints and realities, and environmental conditions.
11. Language requirement: Kurdish and Arabic "Preferred", English "Optional".
