Distribution Clerk

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and implement the distribution of NFI and Food items including site selection, site preparation or registration status, distribution, re-stocking, crowd and the verification handling of supervisor volunteers on site complaints.

• Inform the community of the date, location and eligibility requirement for the distribution if required, participate in the initial needs assessment to help the program gain a better understanding of the scope and location of crisis

• promptly identify and recommend solutions to technical issues

• Monitor progress against work plan, promptly identifying any current or potential delays distribution

• Fully comply with QANDIL safety and security procedures and provide input to security monitoring and assessments to enable and promote a safe and secure environment for program implementation

• Collect and compile key distribution data including registration lists, distribution lists and distribution reports

• Participate in monitoring and evolution activities directly or by providing feedback to the monitoring and evolution team

• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor to enable and develop QANDIL programs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS):

• Minimum one year professional experience in emergency programming, distribution, logistics or community outreach preferred.

• Diploma or High school certificate.

• Proven abilities to work with host and IDP

• NGO experience preferred

• Work well in and promotes teamwork, strong community outreach skills details Oriented,honest, flexible and able to handle pressure well.
